Do your home fragrance products comply with CLP?
Yes! All of our home fragrance goods are labelled in accordance with European Standard BSEN15494:2007. Every product we create requires our chemist to check the safety of the raw materials used and to calculate the allergens within fragrance usage. Rest assured our products are tried, tested and checked before being delivered to your door.
Are your cosmetic products assessed?
Of course! Firstly, before any of our products reach the assessment stage we have great fun experimenting and trialing all products on ourselves! Once we’re happy with a product we’ll then submit all our products to our cosmetic assessor who will then either gives us a big fat yay or nay! If changes are needed we are then able to resubmit until we’re given the green light to go ahead!
Is your packaging recyclable?
- We have our wax melt pots custom made out of recycled materials, these can then go on to be 100% recycled!
- All of our soap sponges are wrapped in 100% recyclable film.

How long will the fragrance last for in my wax melt?
We recommend one third of our wax melts will last for approximately two standard four hour tea lights however depending on how light or strong you like your fragrances this will alter accordingly. Depending on the height of your wax warmer can how fast the fragrance will burn.
What is a soap sponge?
Our handmade triple butter soap sponges are made with mango, shea and cocoa butter, fabulous for moisturising and nourishing your skin. Suitable for in the shower, bath time or even great for washing your hands with. Weighing in at a whopping 200g you’ll be able to reuse over and over and once the soap has gone you’ll still be left with your sponge- win, win! This two in one product is a life hack we couldn’t live without, bursting with fragrance, colour and quality ingredients you’re going to love it! There’s a massage layer which means they’re perfect for exfoliating and ideal for removing fake tan. The thick creamy lather is also great for shaving too.
Why do you use synthetic sponges?
After weighing up the pros and cons to natural V synthetic sponges we made the decision to when making our soap sponges we would use a synthetic sponge. After lots of research we found that using natural sponges can have a greater impact on the planet, as wildlife habitats are being destroyed at a fast rate. Sea sponges take approximately two years to reach a harvestable size. Also by using synthetic sponges we are supporting a small British company and helping to cut down air miles.
What is the difference between a wax melt and an oil burner?
Wax melt burners have been designed and tested for the use of wax melts. Oil burners have therefore been manufactured for the use of oil and water. We cannot stress the importance of using the correct burner for your product. Please always read the label of your burner before use.
Can I use your fragrance oils in my own products?
No! Our oils are a special blend and are not suitable for anything other than burning in an oil burner.
How does the MeltBox Work?
This is a subscription box, with payment taken monthly and your box will be dispatched monthly. Upon expiry of your subscription, it will automatically renew for a further fixed term of the same length. Your MeltBox will be dispatched on the first working day of each month.
How do I cancel my MeltBox?
You are able to cancel your subscription in the customer portal, which can be accessed via the link you'll receive in each of your subscription emails OR by logging into your Emily Victoria Candles account.

All Emily Victoria home fragrance products have unique Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) prepared in accordance with REACH Regulation EC No.1907/2006. These are available to resellers of our products on the occasion of wholesale purchase, via PDF download. In addition safety labels include information required by Regulation EC No.1272/2008 on CLP.
When will be order be shipped?
If your order is placed before 12pm it will be sent out within approximately 2-3 working days. Please note that during busy periods there may be a delay. This will include product launches, sales and holidays. You will receive an email once your order has been picked, packed and dispatched!
Can I combine shipping if I place two orders?
Please note that we sadly cannot combine orders. We aim to dispatch orders at such a speed that its rare we can intercept parcels before they are picked and packed.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For all UK orders please allow 3-4 working days after notification of dispatch for delivery. Please note that delays in the service of Royal Mail are out of our control. If you haven’t received your order within this time frame, we ask that you allow an additional 4 working days before getting in touch with us.
Can I send a gift to someone at a different address?
Yes- our products make awesome gifts! Simply enter the recipient’s name and address in the delivery section of the checkout and we can send your gift direct to them. As we’re paperless your invoice will be sent via email to ensure no prices in the post.
How much does delivery cost?
Postage rates depend on the delivery country and the weight of your order. Standard delivery in the UK starts at £3.50.
What do I do if there's somethings wrong with my order?
We have a friendly and knowledgeable team on hand to help with any order queries, so please drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 01925 818792 and we'll do everything we can to sort things out. If you have received a damaged item please contact us as soon as possible and where feasible please take photographic evidence. You’ll then simply need to return your item for a replacement or refund.
Can I return an item to you?
If you’re not happy with any item then please drop us an email at email@example.com or give us a call on 01925 818792 within 14 days of receiving your goods. You must provide proof of purchase and simply return your item to us within 28 days. Once we have received goods we will then process your refund within 7 working days. Please do not return your goods after 28 days as we will not be able to process a refund for you. As Emily Victoria Candles is a small family run business, it will be your responsibility to pay the cost of return postage. Sadly we are not responsible if your return is lost in the post. As you are the sender of the item, you will need to contact you shipping service to claim compensation for loss. As always we recommend obtaining proof of postage and sending your item via a tracked service. If you cannot provide proof of delivery for a return I'm afraid we cannot then reasonably refund you for the goods that you have sent to us. If you order your item in the sale, sadly we can't exchange your items, we will only be able to offer a refund or a gift voucher. This is in order to keep sale prices as low as possible.
